Does the alarm ring when my phone is on silent?
On iOS 26 or later, yes. Dam uses Apple's alarm system, which rings through silent mode and Focus. On iOS 18, Dam sends repeated notifications instead, and silent mode can mute those.
Can I ever make it stop?
Yes. Confirming the task in the app cancels the rest of the rings. There is also “Pause everything” in Settings for days when you need quiet, and each alarm gives up after the number of rings you choose. Dam is persistent, but you stay in charge of it.
Is Dam a medical app?
No. Dam is a planner and reminder tool. It does not diagnose, treat or manage ADHD or any other condition, and its medication reminders are reminders only. For medical questions, talk to a doctor.
Can my child use it?
Dam is designed for adults and students. A parent can set it up on a child's iPhone and build the routines with them.
Which iPhones does it work on?
Any iPhone running iOS 18 or later. Alarms that ring through silent mode need iOS 26 or later.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Dam is iPhone only for now.
Is there a free version?
There is a free week. Every new install gets all of Dam for 7 days, with no card and no sign-up. After that, a Dam Pro plan is needed to keep using it. Nothing you set up is lost in between: your routines, history and character are all waiting when you subscribe.
What happens when the free week ends?
Dam shows the plans and waits. Alarms stop ringing, because nothing could be confirmed, and start again the moment a plan is active. Nothing is charged automatically: the trial is run by the app, not by a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel if you decide Dam isn't for you.
How do I cancel Pro or get a refund?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. You can cancel in your iPhone's Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you get stuck, contact me.
